Fall 2007 Assessment Workshop for

Daytona Beach Staff

Assistant Vice President for Institutional Effectiveness, Dr. Dick Roach, launched the assessment workshop, updating staff on assessment initiatives implemented and progress made across the University in the past year.

Tiffany Phagan, Assessment Coordinator, shared general areas of improvement and areas of concern gathered from a review of all administrative assessment plans over the past year. Maria Franco, Director of Institutional Research, presented an array of data resources available through the Office of Institutional Research (IR) to support assessment planning. She also demonstrated the new IR website and how staff can access and “slice and dice” census and survey data themselves.
